K. Heidi Fishman won the 2015 Joseph Zola Memorial Holocaust Educator Award from the Maurice Greenberg Center for Judaic Studies at the University of Hartford for the book proposal that led to her debut novel, Tutti's Promise.
K. Heidi Fishman grew up in West Hartford, Connecticut. After graduating from Williams College, she received her MA and EdD in Counseling Psychology from Western Michigan University. A mother of four, Heidi lives in Vermont with her husband and a feisty border terrier and occasionally sees her busy teenagers.
