Grace Angela Henry
Grace Angela Henry has been fascinated by advertising since childhood—TV commercials, radio spots, print ads. She imitated them, critiqued them, even re-wrote some. Now as an actor, it’s fun to be in the ads—print, radio, TV, even IVR.
A born-and-bred New Yorker, privileged to have traveled in 48 of the 50 states and 29 countries on 5 continents, Grace studied early childhood development at Tufts University, and education administration, planning, and social policy in grad school (you probably never heard of it – starts with an H, rhymes with “starboard”), and worked with schools and families for her first career.
Grace's second career took her to West Africa, where she worked for CARE, and then back to New York to an international NGO. A résumé coaching session led to her third career: executive search, recruiting CEOs and other senior executives for nonprofits worldwide. She continues to take on some assignments, and now as an actor, Grace is also doing what she loves: commercials (TV, radio, print), voiceover, and narration. She has a home recording studio and takes classes with Audie Award-winning narrators as well as pros from Broadcasters, Don Buchwald and Associates, Paradigm, Sound Lounge, and others. Recently Grace has added MC’ing and auctioneering at nonprofit galas to this fourth career. Great causes, great fun – great outfits!
